This is my 1st time going there. It was organised by the Republic Singapore Yatch Club. Me and siti are involved in this activity as our Event Management Project. So i think we will be doin the report s0on. The participants are the members of the club itself. There were 3 staff who were in-charge.
We were t0ld to meet one of the staff @ Clementi Mrt. Unfortunately, we had n0 idea how the person l0oks like. We bought breakfast @ mac b4 meeting him/her. Well, the staff's name is Rio. He has this certain accent which is hard to make 0ut wat he said sometimes. He lo0ks a mix of filipin0 + hawaii, most prolly cos his tanned.
We t0ok a cab to the club. And it's quite far and located in a secluded area. I think it's near the Keppel Pier..or somethin Keppel la..
It l0oks prestigious..Haha..tried not to be 'kan chiong' or show like dis is my first time..We helped to pack the drinks and f0od for the participants upstairs @ the office. Then, the bus arrived. I thought they would be kids but there was only a kid and the rest were adults. Around 4 or 5 families were there.
Sungei Buloh is s0o ulu ulu..So much greenery and the views were fascinating.I was amazed by mother nature's beauty. Took pixs and after we watched a video @ the theatrette, we were guided by a volunteer, Mr Keith. I think he is a British..quite an old man t0o with s0 many experienced.
Next, we met an0ther staff,Charlina. Helped her t0 take pixs for the club's newletter. The loo0ong walks were very very tiring..Considering dat my bag was was heavy..Till n0w, my sh0ulder is still aching! Fortunately, the weather was fine. Not t0o scorching..A lot of humid.
Before g0in home, we had lunch and had a short t0ur ard the club. So0 many yatches and they must cost t0ones of money..I slept all thru 0ut our journey h0me in 156 fr0m clementi.
